David Beisel
Meet David
David Beisel is a co-founder and Partner at NextView Ventures. He has been focused on early stage Internet startups his entire career, both as an entrepreneur and venture capitalist. His investments at NextView include TripleLift ($1.4B majority buyout), Attentive, and Parsec ($320M acquisition by Unity).
As an investor in the digital media space, David was also previously a Vice President at Venrock. Prior to becoming a venture capitalist, David co-founded Sombasa Media, an e-mail marketing company best known for its flagship product BargainDog. Sombasa was successfully acquired by About.com (now Dotdash Meredith, an IAC company) where David served as Vice President of Marketing.
David holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an AB in Economics, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Duke University.
Fun Facts: Cycled solo self-supported 1,500 miles across Great Britain from “Land’s End to John o’ Groats”; second favorite job was children’s ski instructor teaching 3-6 year olds.

Rob Go
Meet Rob
Rob is a co-founder and Partner at NextView. He tries to spend as much time as possible working with entrepreneurs to develop products that solve important problems for everyday people.
Rob’s main area of focus is around companies that use software to deliver transformative end user experiences. This has led him to make investments in a wide range of industries including consumer, vertical SaaS, marketplaces, and digital health.
Prior to founding NextView, Rob was at Spark Capital and focused on early stage investments in consumer internet and Saas. Before joining Spark Capital, Rob worked at Ebay as the Business Product Lead for “Finding”. In this role, he oversaw the launch of major products that enhanced the search, browse, and product discovery experience for tens of millions of users.
Previously, Rob was a consultant at The Parthenon Group and also held product management roles at Fidelity Investments and BzzAgent (acquired by Dunnhumby).
Rob attended Duke University and holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He was also a founding board member of Highrock Church in Brookline, MA. He lives in the Boston area with his wife and 2 daughters.
Fun Facts: Rob was born in the Philippines and spent most of his childhood in Hong Kong. Although he sounds like an American, he has almost zero knowledge of 1980’s US pop culture.

Stephanie Palmeri
Meet Stephanie
Stephanie is a Partner at NextView Ventures, based in the San Francisco office. She is most excited by the expanding potential of technology to enhance how we live, work, learn, and thrive. Stephanie is dedicated to supporting founders who create exceptional user-centric experiences for people at home and work. Over the years, her investments in the Everyday Economy have spanned B2B SaaS, education, healthcare, marketplaces, transportation, circular retail, and commerce.
Previously, Stephanie was a partner at Uncork Capital, where she spent a decade investing in dozens of seed stage companies, including Poshmark ($POSH), Clever (aqu. by Kahoot!), Chariot (acq. by Ford), Wrapbook, ClassDojo, Carrot Fertility, Hallow, Panorama Education, and Wonderschool. Before venture investing, Stephanie worked as a technology consultant and marketer at Accenture, Estee Lauder, and several startups.
Stephanie holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Marketing and Management Information Systems, magna cum laude, from Villanova University. She is a Lang Fund Board Member for the Entrepreneurship Center at Columbia Business School and a founding member of All Raise, a non-profit dedicated to accelerating the success of female funders and founders. She is also a certified coach through the Hudson Institute of Coaching. Originally from the east coast, Stephanie now lives in the Bay Area with her husband, their two children, and a senior rescue pup.
Fun Facts: Stephanie hails from the Jersey Shore where she developed strongly held beliefs about bagels and attended a magnet high school for marine sciences. While she’s broken a leg several times in athletic pursuits, she never stops trying. Most importantly, she is the proud mother of twiblings (iykyk).

Melody Koh
Meet Melody
Melody is a Partner at NextView Ventures, based in its New York office. She has spent her entire career working with technology startups as an entrepreneur, operator, and investor.
Prior to joining NextView, Melody was Head of Product at Blue Apron. Melody joined Blue Apron as the first product hire post Series A and helped scale the business through hyper-growth (25x in 3.5 years) and to its IPO, building and leading teams across Product Management, Product Design, and Data Science. Previously, Melody was a Product Manager at Fab.com and the founder/CEO of a seed-funded wine subscription e-commerce service. Prior to her operating career, Melody was a venture investor at Time Warner’s strategic VC group in NYC and was one of six inaugural members of First Round Capital’s Product Co-op initiative.
Melody holds an MBA with Distinction from the Harvard Business School and a BS in Commerce with Distinction from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. After living in NYC for 13 years (across various fun neighborhoods in Manhattan & Brooklyn), she now lives in NJ suburbs with her husband and two young kids.
Fun Facts: I have been on two TV shows – Cash Cab and Top Chef (Season 15; Restaurant War). The Cash Cab experience was completely unscripted, and me and my three teammates (all junior VCs at the time in NYC) collectively won $1200 after a 15 minute cab ride. The Top Chef appearance as a patron of the Restaurant War episode was way less dramatic.

Lee Hower
Meet Lee
Lee started his career as an early employee of PayPal in product and business development roles, remaining with the company through 2002 IPO and sale to eBay. After PayPal, Lee was a co- founder of LinkedIn and led analytics, finance, and operations teams in the company’s early startup years. Prior to co-founding NextView, Lee began his VC career as a Principal at PJC, a Boston-based early-stage VC firm.
Lee graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Management & Technology program, with a BAS in Systems Engineering and a BS Economics from the Wharton School. He was selected as Wharton’s Commencement Speaker in 2000. He lives with his wife and small daughter in the Boston area.
Fun Facts: Holds an international historic racing license, first job was working the log flume ride at an amusement park.

Rachel Hodes
Meet Rachel
Rachel is the Director of Platform at NextView Ventures, based in its New York office. Since graduating from Columbia University in 2015, Rachel’s career has been focused on brand and community-building for D2C, B2C, and B2B early-stage startups.
Most recently before joining NextView, Rachel served as the email and social media outreach lead at LifeLines, a mental wellness venture that was launched in 2020 by the Co-Founders of Melissa & Doug, LLC.
Prior to joining LifeLines, Rachel worked as copywriting, branding, and social media marketing freelance consultant for a variety of different businesses, including digitally native startups like Moxy, as well as established e-commerce sites like Yummie. Rachel began her career in a founding community role with Bulletin, a women-led startup dedicated to facilitating expanded market reach for women-owned businesses and brands.
When she’s not working, you can find Rachel posted up at a comedy show in the city or traveling the world far and wide. Rachel is passionate about advocating for reproductive rights and intent on normalizing mental health practices in everyday life. She lives in Brooklyn with her cutie-pie husband.
Kaitlin O’Hare
Meet Kaitlin
Kaitlin is the Director of Investment Operations at NextView Ventures, spending time in both our New York and Boston offices. She joined the firm in April 2024. In her role, she enables NextView’s investment strategy by optimizing the identification of talented entrepreneurs, nurturing our network of founders and startup investors, and enhancing the operational efficiency of the investment team.
Most recently, Kaitlin led lifecycle marketing and go-to-market operations at OpenView, a growth-stage VC focused on B2B SaaS. Prior to joining OpenView, Kait worked in marketing and revenue operations at B2B software companies like InVision and athenahealth.
Kait holds a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication from Elon University. Outside of work, she spends her time at home in Providence or on the Rhode Island beaches with her husband and their sheepadoodle, Stanley.
Amanda Tommasino
Meet Amanda
Amanda is the Director of Finance at NextView Ventures, based remotely in upstate NY. She joined the firm in February 2022. In her role, she oversees day-to-day finance activities and reporting for the funds, as well as some of the management company financial operations. Amanda received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Siena College.
Most recently, Amanda was a financial analyst at Shade Tree Advisors, an independent multi-family office, where she worked with financial advisors to support several clients.
Prior to joining Shade Tree Advisors, Amanda was a Manager at Ultimus LeverPoint, overseeing a team responsible for day-to-day operations, as well as quarterly and annual reporting, for multiple venture capital clients. Amanda joined Ultimus LeverPoint in early 2014 as a Staff Accountant, to which her role grew as the company evolved.
Outside of work, Amanda spends her time with her husband and three kids. She enjoys a good cup of coffee, cooking, and traveling with her family.
